Funding for content personalization specialist FindMine

In New York, content creation and personalization platform FindMine received a new round of venture funding, which completes a previous seed round and brings the total raised to date to $9.9 million.
FindMine’s content engine, driven by predictive intelligence and merchant sales data, guides online shoppers with dynamic, shoppable content designed to increase sales KPIs across e-commerce, email, advertisements and social media, as well as in-store apps. The company says it has created an entirely new category that addresses what it calls “current gaps” in the personalization and customer data platform (CDP) markets. According to CEO Michelle Bacharach (pictured), FindMine’s technology enables marketers to deliver unique and curated buyable assets to each segment and customer to improve revenue with larger shopping baskets and lifecycles longer and more profitable customer.
The new funding, which was led by XSeed Capital and Underscore VC, will be used to accelerate go-to-market activities and further develop FindMine’s machine learning technology to take advantage of new datasets, such as stock location. Bacharach adds, “We are excited about this investment, as it means we can continue to develop our platform’s ability to create highly produced and differentiated editorial content from scratch – enabling brands and retailers to maintain their visibility with customers and other key audiences, while generating both revenue and loyalty.”
